We continue our week of arts and crafts with one of London's true hidden gems. Strangely enough the recent accident in Vauxhall brought out attention to LASSCO (The London Architectural Salvage and Supply Company) - a shop that specialises in architectural salvage - old baths, radiators, mirrors, lighting and much more. Outside in their yard is the heavier stuff like old doors or fireplaces.  We're not talking scraps either, we're talking stuff that wouldn't be amiss in an Hampstead mansion. The stuff has been sourced to high specifications and attracts collectors, interior designers and all. Best of all though is that there's a cafe in the building - a chance for cakes and tea whilst seated in the midst of architectural gems.
