The insider’s guide to the city

July 18th 2012

Not the most creative name for a Peruvian restaurant but the decor is very nice so all is forgiven. This is apparently the second Peruvian restaurant to open this month in London; no information as to if the Peruvian population of London is increasing but we'll gladly eat the food. It's located in Fitzrovia, or NoHo if you're the Candy brothers, the interior is very nice - a sky light, wooden floors, nice art and for some strange reason several mirrors mounted high on the wall. As for the food, there's adventurous stuff like sea bass with tiger's milk (please tell me it isn't tiger's mammaries) and suckling pig and potatoes cultivated at 4,000 metres. Certainly one for the experience as much as for the food.
