Bill's, Covent Garden

September 18th 2012

Another day, another breakfast spot for Bespokecity. If you've read enough of these Dailies you'll know we are breakfast and brunch connoisseurs and Bill's is another pit-stop in the quest for London's ultimate brekkie. The place itself is in a nice location - St. Martin's Courtyard in Covent Garden - away from the heavy footfall of Long Acre and the "entertainment" of the piazza. It’s right next door to another one of Jamie Oliver's eponymous restaurants so you could argue there's some competition there. The food is not bad at all - still doesn't touch No. 67 in Peckham as far as Bespokecity is concerned but it'll do. Get there early to dine al fresco or to get an upstairs seat - if you come around 10 on a Saturday expect to queue to get in - that's how popular the place gets.
