The Table Cafe

September 24th 2012

On a rare foray south of the river into the unknown, Bespokecity decided to have brunch - (yet again, I hear you say) at The Table after a hard session at the gym. Southwark Street in itself was a revelation - first you have the new and impressive looking NEO Bankside apartments on the crossroads with Sumner Street to the architecturally interesting Bankside Central on the crossroads with Great Guildford Street. At No.83 is The Table, a nice little cafe that serves breakfast till 4pm on Saturdays - handy after a heavy night out. The portions are quite large which to some extent almost justifies the relatively expensive £12 for the full English and a fiver for a smoothie. The food comes out incredibly quick which is a positive anywhere you go but most of the tables are small tables of 4 so it can get quite uncomfortably intimate if you don't know the other people on your table.

What: The Table Cafe
