The Lunch Market

September 25th 2012

The Lunch Market is back tomorrow for possibly the last time this year before it starts snowing. Hopefully it doesn't end up being a washout if the week's weather so far is anything to go by. In case you don't know, the Lunch Market at Wood Wharf is an up-market version of Dalston Market; people queue up in an orderly fashion, no one tries to haggle prices down, instead of plantain you get stuff middle class stuff like quinoa, no one will try to sell you a bush rat and it's possibly the only place in London you can get away with charging over a fiver for some rice and stew. This is possible because it's full of bankers from Canary Wharf getting lunch. The variety of the food on offer is definitely amazing - Thai, Caribbean, Moroccan and even French...

What: The Lunch Market
When: 25th September, 11am-3pm
Where: Wood Wharf
