St. Martin's Courtyard

November 8th 2012

What: St. Martin's Courtyard
When: See website
Where: 3 Slingsby Place, Covent Garden

For some of you today's idea may appear to be the lazy man's option - Bespokecity has run out of ideas. Never. Because most people still don't know what or where St. Martin's Courtyard is anyways so we're safe in proffering this suggestion upon you. As you walk down the well trodden path on Long Acre from Leicester Square Station towards Covent Garden, you do a cheeky left just after public school boys’ fav shop, Jack Wills, into a small passage way and open to you is a shopping Narnia - a courtyard away from the heavy footfall of Covent Garden, an array of shops and restaurants unspoilt by the hoi polloi. There are too many to list in this small space, but pride of place for us was Bill's which we recommended here. Furthermore, on the 29th they are offering 20% off every shop in the courtyard in a special one-off. If this includes Crazy Bear's private members' club is debatable though as this is an exclusive venue, separate to their bars and hotels - if you wish to pay 500 quid for a yearly membership you are most welcome. If you just wish to shop, choose from Barbour, Cos and the like. There is also a yoga and pilates centre and a day spa.
