The Fourth Floor Shop by all accounts is the place to sort out your Alf Garnet, your Barnet Fair, a trim or simply put a hair cut. Widely revered by those in the know, it is also more value for money than a celebrity hairdresser with wild bouffant hair, a shirt with 4 buttons undone and a medallion. But enough of the salon as we've never been there. In November and December, the owners have decided to assemble possibly the most chi-chi bric-a-brac you'll ever visit. The top level of the salon has been converted to an area where local vendors in Clerkenwell can display and sell a wide array of their wares. If suits are your thing Timothy Everest is on hand to help your sartorial mishaps; regular tree hugger type of person? Justin Oh's bags have been designed with our planet in mind; looking for unique crockery - Ben Pentreath has some nice designs for the Fourth Floor Corner Shop. The Corner Shop is open till the end of December and is absolutely free to visit.
